The Colt Gold Cup FDE .22 LR semi-auto features a CNC machined high-grade aluminium slide and skeletonized 3-hole trigger. It has a FLAT Dark Earth finish with rubber wraparound grips and 5″ (127mm) barrel. Plus a target front sight and adjustable rear sight, extended beavertail grip safety, and elongated hammer.
The Colt 1911 still defines the standard for modern day semi-automatic pistols. The 1911 was the standard US military sidearm from 1911 to 1985 and the M45 CQB model is now being issued to the US Marine Corp. It is also frequently used by civilians, law enforcement, and military forces throughout the world today.
The Colt Gold Cup FDE is also available in a blued finish.
This series of Colt .22 LR Rimfire 1911s has the same look and feel as their .45 “big brothers” but allows you to spend a day at the range for a fraction of the cost. Available in the Gold Cup, Rail Gun and Government versions, these authentic models are made exclusively under license by Carl Walther in Germany.
